Last year (2020) when I went to Poland with my mom the plane went through violent turbulence and the plane shook and shook and this went on for a long time. It was obvious she was afraid so I told her about the little girl who was on an airplane flying and when the turbulence came and shook the plane she wasn’t afraid or worried or frantic like my mom was! When the little girl was asked why she wasn’t afraid she said: “I’m not afraid because my daddy is the pilot.” My mom calmed down. What’s shaking your life right now? Hear in your turbulence what my mom heard on that airplane and calm down. God is with you. All will be ok. You are not alone.
Who’s the pilot of your life? We are flying through life and often when we least expect it the turbulence comes and shakes us up and makes us afraid. It is then we have to be reminded that God is our daddy and He pilots the airplane of our life and if God, for whom nothing is impossible and who so cares for me that every hair on my head is counted, is the pilot of my airplane I know I will reach my destination safely. I will be ok! God won’t let anything happen to me: “For God will order His angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! God says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name.” Psalm 91.
God’s promise is, that He will in due time deliver you out of trouble, and in the meantime be with you in trouble.
God is with you! No one and nothing can be against you. Fly like an eagle then as the Bible says: “But those who trust in God will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31.
Isn’t our God wonderful?
